How to Use Healthy Recovery Formula
Remember that smooth surgery and good wound healing follows great nutrition.
1) Starting approximately one to two weeks prior to surgery, add one-half scoop to at least 12 oz. of water, reduced fat milk, juice, and/or your favorite fruit and blend once a day. Take at least one hour prior or two hours following a meal. Resume 24 hours after surgery or when post-operative nausea subsides. Take for at least two months total duration or as recommended by your doctor. Maximum benefits may be obtained from continued use for up to six months.
2) Healthy Recovery Formula is also recommended as a once a day ‘’anti-aging’’ meal replacement or healthy snack for weight control.

* Find a surgeon that is not only an expert in his/her field but also a great educator in preparing the patient for surgery.
* Good preparation for surgery usually includes: avoidance of tobacco/smoke (even second-hand) for at least 2 weeks prior and 3 weeks after surgery; avoidance of aspirin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, supplemental Vitamin E, Ginko, St. Johns Wort, and Echinacea for at least 14 days prior and 3 days after surgery; avoidance of alcohol for at least 2 days (7 days if binge drinking) prior and 7 days after surgery; avoidance of most diet pills for at least one month prior and one week after surgery (note that some diet pills may have to be discontinued 6 months prior so be sure to tell your doctor what diet pills your are taking); hydrate for surgery by drinking about 8-10 full 8oz. glasses of water a day starting about 5 days prior to surgery.
